Having a nightfalling hunter in the raid doesn't stop a tank from using nightfall as well. I don't understand all the arguments for one or another. It is of my opinion that a nightfall hunter brings more dps to a raid than a marks hunter. All offtanks that are not tanking a boss should be using nightfall also. More nightfalls means more uptime on the debuff. My ally raiding guild on even had pallies whacking with nightfalls when heals werent needed on certain fights. Nightfall was almost always up and dps went up by a shit ton. I appreciated it on my lock.

BTW I made adjustments since I am not orc, going for 2/4 Black Dragonscale 1% hit bonus as the attack power is a little less, but with both items I can have a decent amount of FR and stamina, since I will be taking a lot of damage!

Nice to hear from another fellow melee hunter. Tell me how that goes, without Windfury the uptime will be slightly less but you could say the same for Warriors over there. With Kings and Blessing of Might you will be doing more sustained damage. It should work out just as well.

Those items should be good to start, with time more upgrades will come your way.

This is just a silly post but seeing as Nostalrius's inevitable future I just want to say that I had fun and to thank the community and the haters for allowing me to do what I love. I am certain this would have been significantly better than ranged hunters in AQ40 and Naxx and now perhaps I won't be able to test it.

Although I was able to have a Nightfall Duel with another Hunter in Westfall. Enjoy.
