Entrapment (surv pvp talent)

Does anyone know if this talent works like it did in vanilla? Instead of on proc, it has a chance to entrap on each pulse?

From what I see on the bug tracker it doesn't work period, imp mend pet only works on first tic only when pet is damaged or it won't work period, and improved hunters mark is also bugged according to a thread here. Most of these have been on bug tracker for more than a month, nost staff doesn't play hunter/ has "bigger" priorities. It's really disheartening when I go look at another servers bug tracker and some of these bugs were fixed the same day they were posted.
