Boss Solo Challenge

Thought it would be interesting to see what bosses or events or quests us hunters have been able to solo, or would like to, no matter the level (an elite at level 10 can be just as hard at 60, Hogger anyone?)

I would like to see a Rattlegore kill (scholo), which should be more possible for alliance. - Filled

I was thinking of trying LBRS or Scholo. DM East mobs have odd aggro ranges. I died there a few times and gave up, might try again some day, but for now I think I'll give Scholo a shot today when I get home from work (my stream is online now and showing the remaining time until the run if anyone's interested)

Something I'd like to try is a DM W Immol and Prince run. Would take a long while to clear the trash for the pylons, but would like to see if Immol is kitable.

I challenge hunters to solo Azuregos.

This guy did it at lvl70, but he never kited. With kiting it should be possible at 60.

Tried to kill Ras Frostwhisper, but he's bugged and continues casting abilities with 0 mana. Trying to work out a way to down him as well (since the minibosses are ridiculously easy) and Ras is the hardest solo encounter I've ever done. Got him down to ~45% on my best run, but after doing Scholo for a total of 8 hours, I had to call it and get the 3 hours of sleep I had left and go to work, lol.
Rattlegore (and all the trash) is easy once you get the kiting and splitpulling methods down. Getting to him is even easier.

How did you deal with the trash before Rattlegore?

Wingclip kite, each with 2x trap+food+drink+heal pet to full resets due to their enrage at 20% hp. Monkey aspect saved my life plenty of times there. The drakes+casters pretty much splitpulling and same method but without the resets, much easier. On the plus side a BoE ring that costs 350g dropped ^^. So those 8 hours of solo scholo didnt go to waste, even though i didn't manage to get rattlegore. I'll be farming the minibosses for the ancient bone bow when it comes out, as I can kill almost all of them, shame i started with rattlegore though and didn't have enough time to try the rest.

Scholo is doable for Hunters in vanilla. Should still be vids up of it being done, too. As Ohr has mostly mentioned ofc.

Yeah I did some of it on a previous server but I was Alliance and it was easier to shadowmeld at key points to Rattlegore. Wasn't sure if it was possible for Horde. Ohr did you split pull your way through the instance? Or drop down from the bridge?
