Pets disappearing in stables

yeah I feel your frustration man.. not only is Lupos a bitch to find and tame but the struggle in leveling it to 60 , I really hope they atleast fix this so it doesnt happen in the future.. :/

Why bother getting Lupos if his shadow damage is still getting negated by armor?

Hopefully in the future they will fix that bug. No harm in preparing for the future, am I right?

what bug do you mean, the one that lupos is actually doing shadow dmg when he should not? as it was stated by blizzard? it was active one time in Vanilla then they fixed it, and the bug returned some time in BC and then it got fixed again. It's like snarler having innate resistances.

From what information I've been able to gather, the shadow damage disappeared from Lupos as an intended fix, I don't recall which patch though. The fact that his shadow damage gets negated by armor on this server is a bug, and is not working as intended.

So false. His shadow damage was nerfed in the retail patch 1.9, as was all other hunter pets such as Broken Tooth's "broken" speed, Snarler's innate resistances, et.c. Where are you getting your bullshit.

And we're suppose to be pre 1.4. Same as Ragnaros damage and crushing blows as elemental damage which is WotLK.

The only reply I got was a response that treated me like a moron who never played WoW before.

You need to stable the pet you can see and use Call Pet. For some reason when pets die and you run out of range of them, you have to Call Pet to do anything further.

Anyway, for now I use the same pet for all situations & stay far away from the stables.

I don't know how you managed to get offended by that response since it was sincere. Anyway, last I heard they supposedly "fixed" the bug. I still don't use the stables anymore though, because I don't feel like risking anything.

The problem is this specifically, and I have encountered it but managed to recover my own pet.

If you try to stable your pet without having it out, in otherwords it is currently dismissed, it will appear to disappear when you place it into your stable. If you swap a pet into the spot you moved this "invisible" pet into, and then call pet after the original pet should reappear.

In otherwords, ALWAYS HAVE YOUR PET CALLED OUT WHEN YOU STABLE IT.
