is it possible for the pet to kil llvl 12 mobs from which I gain no XP and get XP? Im testing but so far seems no

It is possible but they gain very little XP. If you have an addon that tracks pet XP in real-time (like Titan Bar), you'll see it happen.

Get Titan Bar with the Pet addon. It tracks your pet XP in real time. Kill a mob that is grey to you but green to your pet. You should see the "required XP to level" drop slightly.

I personally went back and tested this with a low-level pet, killing mobs that were grey to me but green/yellow to my pet. He didn't gain much XP but he did gain some. Just make sure that the mobs are not grey to your pet.

If, after repeated tests, you are certain that your pet is not gaining XP, make a ticket about it.

ok my apologies now it started gaining XP...so I leveled the pet I wanted to the desired lvl, but about when I started the thread I could've swore it wasn't gaining any XP at all.

Now one more question...I have leveled a ''grey level to me '' pet 4 levels now and have yet to gain a single training point...do pets have to kill NPCs that are at least ''green'' to me to gain training points?
