Your favorite gold farm method?

To add to the above post, I would add in Viper on the shaman as much as possible. Once drained, it makes killing the King a lot quicker. I use multi for more dmg than arcane, but it depends what you're comfortable with.

Again though, it took me about 40 mins to net only 16g and it's high risk. Unless you're an enchanter I don't think it's worth it for gold farming.

Tribute solo still probably fastest way to get gear, unless doing with guild.

Maraudon farming will be always best method of gold due gear scaling.

DM North is by far the best way to go, you can very easily do a run in 15 minutes or less with a day or so of practice.

You do need to be either engineer or blacksmith, and you don't need invis pots, but one potion speeds the run up by 1-2 minutes, so it's definitely worth it for how cheap they are.

Though by now most people have the items they want out of tribute, it's much harder to find a buyer for rings and lodestones, so its profitability has definitely dropped. I still run because it's fun and reasonably challenging, good way to pass the time. Definitely get a good sense of accomplishment figuring it out the first time.

I'm not going to ruin the surprise, but you can very easily pull Gordok alone, if you've ever split a pull as a hunter you should know how to do this :).

15 mins?! You'll have to share your strat! Takes me about 10-15 just to get to King, then another few minutes to split them and kill him.

The ring market has pretty much dried up, was only able to sell 1 of the 5 I got yesterday.

So I've started selling run tutorials.....hit me up in game later tonight on BioBooster, I have two people scheduled already, I'm sure I can squeeze a few more in if people are interested :)

Since he's selling the info, maybe not but it would be handy :p

I am working on a video guide but it's just a 'how to get there as an engi huntard' kinda thing. Last two days I've died constantly to stupid stuff though; bow proccing and cancelling scatter, pet getting dazed and fd'ing in the middle of mobs, traps breaking, and the very best one server crashing on King 5%!
