Hunter Bug Compilation (Constructive)

[Pet Mechanic] - Inability to send pet on target that is not in LoS.

Issue: Pets can't be sent on targets that are not in the hunters LoS.

Evidence/References: N/A

This pull works over quite a long distance and even around corners, as long as you can get a mob targeted.

Currently, addons are not tracking hunter's Auto Shot. The functionality exists for melee swings, but not Auto Shot.

I have tried every swing timer and only one's that work on hit are working as intended for hunters. However, this is not a good fix as ranged attacks have travel times.

Issue: with 1 point in talent Pathfinding the tooltip from "Aspect of the Cheetah" and the buff is showing 33% movement speed, with 2 points in the talent it is showing up as 30%. So either tooltip is only broken or also the movement speed.

References/Evidence: needs to be tested (race between 2 hunters, 1 point - 33% vs 2 points - 36%)

We did now some tests (1 Hunter with 33% and 1 with 36%), and 2 points spent in Pathfinding is indeed providing 36% movement speed.

So it is just a visual error that:
0 points in Pathfinding tooltip is 30%
1 point in Pathfinding tooltip is 33%
2 points in Pathfinding tooltip is 30%

Did no one talk about a glaringly huge issue for PvP?

Pets can't attack another player in water. They will not enter the water, nor when in the water, will they chase.

Perhaps I just tamed a retarded cat who likes to drown, but so far it doesn't want to play with any ally that go for a dip.

I've experienced this issue, but not 100% of the time. It's really finicky; if my pet was underwater to begin with sometimes it works. I'll gather more info on this bug.

About the bug of pet sharing movement impairments with the hunter: It also appears, that this is affects other debuffs as well.

Example: There are infamous Inkspewer murlocs which give a 50% miss debuff. I was under the impression once my pet (or myself) were inflicted, the other received the same penalty (requires reproduction though !)

On another note: I remember in my early level 30s (about a week ago) I was able to dispel Polymorph off my pet via Imp. Pet Mend, so it at that time the ticking was functional. Recently, I had troubles dispelling my pet, but it might just be RNG or insufficient procrate

I have Improved Mend Pet and it definitely works. As for the chase speeds: The pets have their "altered" chase speed when in combat, but not outside combat. I have Takk the Leaper who can easily outrun an epic mount in combat. However, before I chase someone, I have to have him tag a mob and then quickly target the person I want to chase.

Lightning reflexes as of yesterday did not work at all. It added nothing at all to my agility. On friday however it did work.

I'm done paying for respecs until things are fixed. It shouldn't cost me a fortune to find bugs in the talent trees. They need to remove or reduce the cost of respecs until things are functioning properly.

Interesting find, I will give this a test myself with Bangalash :). Thanks for confirming that Improved Mend works, but just to be sure make sure it says that it is dispelling in your combat log. Heartbeat works here, so CC can break early.

Sorry to hear about that :/ and yeah, i'm not really adamant about paying respecs just to test bugs. Hopefully they get a github up at some point or create a test team :)
