Hunter leaf quest

finally i can write on forums. so tell me now exactly how this shit works. i want to be in this list but some ally logged on his horde account and whispered me im on some kind of ban list. i went ungoro today 2 times got killed both times before ever seen the boss. when did this game turn into game where you list things? so HOW does this shit work??

EDIT: this guy logs on his horde account and tells me to leave ungoro? when he logs back to his ally char and gets killed he cries on forums?

Right, first of all you should add your name to the list and read the list rules. Second, players who are on the list will almost in all cases kill you if you're having an attempt without being on the list.

We have this list, because we're trying to get as many heads to as many hunters as possible without despawns, fights or arguments. This server has about 4x the population of a vanilla server back in the day, therefor a gigantic queue has formed and a lot of heads are lost due to despawns.

In my opinion not a single hunter would've finished this quest if it wasn't for this list and people respecting it.

Copy and paste this list (with rules) in a new post and add your hunter's name to the bottom.
-Gather at the spawnpoint for a demon you need to kill.
-If there are multiple hunters, check this list and make sure you get the right order (confirm this with the hunters present). If you are alone it's always your turn.
-If the hunter highest on the list fails (dies), the next hunter on the list can start fighting the demon. If that player dies, move to the next. Repeat this until the demon is killed.
-I've seen as many as 4 people fail, so even when you are fifth in line you should probably wait. In any case you can see how the demon should (not) be attacked.
-If you arrive while another hunter is killing the demon, but you are above them in the list... too bad! You are too late. Wait until the demon is killed and set your timer for 3 hours and be there early.
-Never attack the demon when another hunter is fighting it! Even when he is a dick and skipping the line. The demon will despawn. You can, however, attack the hunter if he is of the opposing faction (and you are SURE he is skipping the line). Just autoshots and concussive shots from max range will make him/her die real fast.
-Also try to make sure other players don't despawn the demon. So talk to members of your faction before they start buffing/healing the hunter that is fighting the demon or attack the demon itself.
-Respect the list and you will get your bow!
-When you are done, please remove yourself from the list.

It's very dangerous to kill people such as Tiankong mid attempt. When he despawned the demon for me, he simply waited for me to have him at 5%, ressed and shot him.

I feel much better having english speaking trolls ruining this for us than chinese people who don't understand a word, Tiankong didn't even understand the list system, even though he was on it. (Not at all trying to sound racist or something here.)

It doesn't matter -- he has intentionally despawned the demon several times now. Anyone with half a brain knows that despawning the demon when you don't get your way is the worst possible solution. And no one could reasonably expect that the list works in such a way that if the hunter fighting the demon dies, its a free for all to get it next. He tries to skip the line, plain and simple. Hunters like you and I who have been waiting at every spawn for nearly two weeks can't tolerate this because letting Tiankong get the kill out of line only encourages that kind of behavior for other people.

Frankly at this point I'd rather see despawners get banned then ever get the head because if this kind of behavior works to complete the quest then the list is meaningless and no one will ever get another bow because of the mayhem.

Ultimately the blame for this situation lies on Nostalrius. The implementation of this quest has been an abject failure and to date nothing has been done to ease the problems. Anyone reading this thread can easily see that far more hunters are accepting the quest than can ever complete it -- and that's primarily because of high population, ease of griefing, and excessively long despawn timers.

Him depawning it off you at 5% just means it'll take even longer for him to get his. Someone that knows Chinese needs to explain this to these kind of people. He's never going to get his bow doing this, and may as well hang it up instead of screwing over other people.
