It can't be illegal, because its an elite mob, which drops loot. You can not report a player because he "farms" elite mobs.

I still need it, but I won't be going for it now. PvP is not so important atm.

Of course if you need it just come and tame it. Killing other people and killing BT doesn't help anybody and I saw you kill it before. I always tell other alliance people bot to attack horde so everyone can have a chance. Starting a war doesn't help anybody. I have killed BT two times because I got ganked while waiting for spawn peacefully. One guy was going to have it, but nobody got it since some people kill eachother.

So I managed to tame it now. Unfortunately when we were waiting, a lvl 60 alliance hunter came and killed all the horde. Also killed troll hunter Vtt, he cast tame beast earlier than me. Well tame beast is bugged anyway and second caster gets the pet but you may never know. He basically escorted me until I get the beast.

So thereby I wanted to say that I am sorry you guys are ganked. Good luck.

Partially related question: When the server crashes and comes back up, does Broken Tooth - and by extension, all rare mobs - spawn fresh, or do you still have wait for the normal amount of time?

In my experience you could say the timer runs offline but the spawn is delayed by few min by every downtime.

I can confirm it doesn't work that way. When server crashes or resets, spawns on timers won't spawn right away. You'll still need to wait for the time.

So are we going to establish a Coalition of Patient Hunters guild with a thrall of police mages/rogues/shadow priests that will cc everyone but the elected Hunter to tame Brokentooth?
