Pets disappearing in stables

Hello.

Some weeks ago I caught Lupos and have sort of been leveling him back and forth. I managed to get him up to 53 when he mysteriously disappeared in the stables. I tried everything getting him back, but to no avail. I've been in contact with the gamemasters about this subject and from what I can understand they are looking in to it at the moment. The official report was that they "fixed" this issue 2 weeks ago, but for some reason it keeps happening.

Anyway, after losing this first Lupos at level 53, I spent an entire night camping him to catch him again. After successfully doing so, I've spent the last few days leveling him. About 10 minutes ago, after the new one reached level 51, I hearthstoned to Undercity to swap him out for my level 60 pet, because I was going UBRS.

It then happened again. Poof, gone! That's two Lupos pets gone forever for some unknown reason.

The point of this story is watch out, it's one hell of a nasty bug and it could quite possibly happen to you. Has anyone out there experienced anything like this?

Is it possible that it's just with Lupus that this occurs? Has it happened with any other pet?

I haven't had it happen with my pets personally.
So only going off of what you've said .

Yeah, happened to me with my lvl 46 ( I was 48 ) Echeyakee. The GM said PM the admins but they did nothing.

10/10 server 4 years in dev would play again

This bug exist on all private servers..

Never change pet in the stable if you dont play in retail :p

This happens when you have your pet dismissed and put him in the stables I believe, luckily I was able to catch my broken tooth by just clicking the empty slot in my stable and it appeared.. yeah that really sucks for your Lupos gl taming him a 3rd time if you're that dedicated , ps wtb lupos timer 50g!

I once suspected that this was indeed the trigger of said bug, because the first Lupos I lost I was sitting on my mount, the pet was dead and dismissed. After that time, I have always been very careful about not repeating those "errors". But the second time, I was on foot, pet was alive, summoned, loyalty level 6 and Happy. So obviously this isn't the trigger.

I have been in contact with admins on the forums here, and the interest in letting me know whether they are able to reinstate the pets or not seem to be very cold. If you ask me, this is a very huge let down, because not only has a lot people spent time farming the pets, but also days leveling them, as in my case. Feeling like this is turning into some kind of whine post and it's partly true.

I still feel as this needs an official statement as it's basically game breaking (in terms of spirits)

yeah I feel your frustration man.. not only is Lupos a bitch to find and tame but the struggle in leveling it to 60 , I really hope they atleast fix this so it doesnt happen in the future.. :/

you can't afford to use more than one pet on this server so pick between pve and pvp and stick with it

How about the GMs make themselves useful and refund the fucking pet? It's not our fault and we shouldn't have to farm endlessly for it. It's easy to refund, just spawn Lupos, let us tame him and then lvl him up.

Why bother getting Lupos if his shadow damage is still getting negated by armor?
