Rare hunter pet : "The Rake" info

So I have my alt parked in mulgore and I periodically log in to roam the area in search for the rare hunter pet "The Rake". Problem is, It's been a few days with no sign of this asshole anywhere. I did some research and he spawns in the golden plains where I have been looking, It also says it has an 8hr spawn timer max. Searching for a few days and not seeing him ONCE I'm getting a little skeptical if he even spawns in the recommended area I'm searching in. 8hr spawn timer is sounding BS to me too. I'm starting to wonder if the NOS server has him spawning in another section of mulgore. Can someone enlighten me on the whereabouts of this cunt.. If im even looking in the right place... Does he infact have a different spawn point specific to this server. Any info you can scrounge on him would be dope. Thanks..

Update: So today i saw him twice! I figured out he has a 7-8 hour spawn time. The only problem with this cat is he despawns after a short time. Spotted him on my alt, logged and hearthed to ratchet on my hunter, took a short run to Mulgore to get there and this bitch is not in sight. There was definately not one person in the area when i logged over and i doubt someone that could actually kill it showed up during that 5 min run. This guy is really fustrating. I'm also going to have to personally park my hunter in the zone and scrap the alt technique seeing the window to tame him is a very small window. Guess I will try again in 8 hours.

Just Sat for 5 hours and finally he spawned at 52.18. Super stoked.

Unfortunatly it does not. It can learn both bite and claw abilities so that makes up for it. Also you can get the 30% faster run speed in the BM talent tree.
