Depends on the weapon and on its speed.

14 AP = 1 DPS.

To translate the +DMG from Furious Howl into AP for your abilities, you need to know for what weapon you're converting it, as Attack Power is normalized.

Ranged Weapons' AP contribution are normalized at 2.8

For auto-attacks AP isn't normalized, you need to input your weapon speed.

This means your auto-attacks will benefit a bit more from AP than your special abilities do if your weapon is slower than its normalization coefficient.

In this example, this means this flat +DMG buff will be converted to a slower amount of AP for auto-attacks than it will for abilities if the weapon used is slower than 2.8.

Example with a 3.00 ranged weapon :

Auto-attacks :
(18-22 / 3.00) x 14 = 84 - 103

Special abilities :
(18-22 / 2.8) x 14 = 90 - 110

On a side note, I think the Hunter's Auto-shot is treated as an ability (isn't it ?), which would mean the AP normalization applies to it too.
