Training points/loyality

I heard that loyality determines how many Training Points you get per level of the pet? Or how does it even work?

I thought that the level mattered, for example if I tame a pet as early as level 10 it would mean I would get a lot more training points than a level 50ish pet. Im trying to get every single pet ability learned but im not sure if I have enough points

level of pet loyality * pet level = amount of training points.

Ex. loyality 1 * pet level 17 = 17 training points.

Actually it is (loyalty level - 1) * pet level = Training Points. So on Loyalty Level 1 (Rebellious) your pet have 0 Training Points (TP), and lvl 60 pet which is Loyalty Level 6 (Best Friend) have (6-1)*60=300 TP.
