Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi guys,
so I just tried to learn Charge Rank 2 and 3 from boars, by taming them and using the ability at least once. Somehow it didn't work really well and I just have Charge Rank 1 in my Beast Training book. Is there anything I need to do in addition, like leveling up the Loyalty level, or am I simply messing around with it?

when you want to learn the ability, you have to keep using it until you learn it, sometimes you get lucky and it just takes one time but in some cases you need to use the ability a lot of times before you finally learn it

for example most of the bite/claw i could learn really fast, but when i tried to learn dash rank 1 it took me well over 30 minutes of just standing there using the ability, and once i learnt dash rank 1, it only took one try to learn dash rank 2, so it looks like it is completely random
