Reading on this forum from back earlier this summer make it seem like snarler does not have the extra resistance and that lupos shadow dmg is reduced by armor. Is this true?

If so, is it a waste of time for me to get one of those when i can just get a high lvl wolf (like the one in AV) and not have to worry about leveling it up as much as i would have to with lupos?

Indeed, Lupos has damage reduction from armor and Sharler doesn't have +100 all resistances bonus. But admins promised to fix them, so I believe a fix will come in the next patch. Still, even if you managed to tame Lupos\Sharler in future, you have to tame a wolf from LBRS first to learn all highest rank abilities (Furious howl rank 4, bite rank 8, dash rank 3), so you can train Lupos\Sharler later.

Having Just tamed Snarler and then seen this when i realised his resistance was 0, Will he gain the resistance when he they fix it or will i have to go tame him again do you think?

He'll receive resistances, so don't worry.

So lupos is the best choice then?
