Pet unable to receive player buffs?

I noticed that my pet isn't gaining the stamina from Power word: Fortitude, is that normal or a bug?

Pets don't gain any stats from the hunter in vanilla, so as you get more and more geared at lvl 60 your pet will just keep becoming more insignificant. Enjoy :^)

Pets can still receive the full benefits of buffs however, but they need to be buffed separately.
