I think the 60AP probably outweighs the 1% crit. Thoughts?

yes. ducktape stick is for killing/farming demons, and/or pvp. Barb blade is superior to ducktape stick unless fighting demons (IE never in MC, BWL, AQ, Naxx).

This is a discussion we have when you hit the current gear cap. When I raid and get world buffs and consumables and whatever I get close to 40% crit on ranged attacks. At around this number you start finding the softcap or getting really close to the softcap, but I don't know what it is so when fully consumed and world buffed barbarous is better since you get more out of the 60 AP than an extra crit.

Now when I don't have world buffs or consumes I use the 2 crit over the 60 AP so that I hit like 20-30% crit. Just making some vague numbers since I don't know specifics.

Not all of us are op alliance Dragon slayers w/might + kings. ;c

I'd kill for a couple feral druids though.

Might does not give RAP in vanilla. Dem agi totems though.

What do you mean by soft cap, are you referring to a crit cap?

Thers no such thing as softcap for ranged criticals.

Ya, that's what i was going to say. Correct me if I'm wrong, but ranged attacks can't be parried, dodged and we don't get glancing blows so there's no crit cap for hunters.

I understand that there is some crit% where we do want to get AP more than crit, and we're able to get close to it. All I know right now is if you are full consumed and have world buffs (songflower ony head mongoose etc) you want to use barb. If you're running into raid with nothing you want to use stick.
