iv hunted through the hunter forums (heh pun in there) and the only found 1 thread back when the server first came out so im asking now what would be the best proffs for a hunter

It seems like a reasonable response to me. As the size of an explosion increases, the number of social situations it is incapable of solving approaches zero.

There's a quest to turn Thorium Shells into arrows with an identical DPS bonus, but I think that's it.

Doesn't count as "best" as such, but you cant go wrong with Skinning while leveling a hunter.

Cheap to start, all you need is a knife, easy to keep skinning up with your current level, and a good steady source of income as you progress.

Skinning doesn't start bringing in any kind of income until Thick Leather. And even then, it's only like 1g per stack right now.

Light/Medium/Heavy Leather sell for like, 5s, 15s, and 40s a stack, respectively.

Jumper cables can be handy too. Once I even managed to feign death and rez a healer during Razorgore, but it's a bit tricky since you get put back into combat pretty quickly (afaik, only level 42 here).

Engineering + whatever you want to supplement it. It's a bitch to level, so mining helps then you can sell all your excess shit to pick up something that is actually good.
