Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I started a Night Elf hunter recently, and had to go back to the old school mindset of finding pet with specific abilities to add to my Train Pet list. I was looking for a pet with Claw, Level 1. I managed to find Bite, Level 1 off a Lv 7-8 Spider, and Bite, Level 2, off the Lv 10-11 spiders, and Claw, Level 2 off a Strigid Hunter (birds near Darnassus enterance), but I have had a hard time finding a bird or cat with Claw, Level 1.

Any ideas of how to find Claw, Level 1?
