Massive Hunter Glitch

I used a quest reward item that summoned a guardian for me for 20 minutes. I forget the exact name but when I did this, my active hunter pet disappeared.

Nothing at all brings it back. I can't call it, revive it, die and fix it that way, stable it and bring it back, nothing. It's just a blank slot in my stable and I've had to resort to getting an entirely new pet.

I also can't swap a working pet out for the bugged one and call it back. Having the bugged blank pet active from my stable displays only a blank box with no information in it (unlike if I had my working pet moved there from the stable) and even when I try to tame a new pet with the bugged out pet in my main stable slot (so that is active) does not work. The channeling ends for taming a new pet then nothing at all happens. No failure message, no "that creature is untamable" message, nothing.

This is game breaking for two reasons:

1. It eats up a hunter pet slot from your stables and if I bug out my only remaining pet somehow again with a guardian consumable I won't be able to use any pets at all.
2. I need to spend 5g to unlock the third stable option in order to just have 2 pets and swap between 2 instead of 3.

I've been trying to get a hold of someone for days about this and I'm having no luck. In game tickets don't get me into contact with anyone and reporting it to the forums does nothing either. Can anyone help?

This bug was fixed with a recent rollback. Thanks to the GM staff for doing an awesome job.

I would recommend as a hunter if you have a pet out that you never, ever use a summon guardian item.

Can you elaborate on exactly which item bugged your pet/pet slot out?

I'm not sure what you mean by guardian item. Examples?
