Survival spec viable for raids?

Since a lot of hunters reached the 450 agi mark, I was wondering if the Survival spec is a better damage source than the MM spec.
Just concidering the hunter dmg here.

It is better indeed. But if you consider total benefits for your raid - 20/31/0 >> 0/21/30, and it's a fact. The total damage bonus from melees in your group >> damage benefit from survival build.
Survival is good if you have something from this list:
-caster damage dealers mostly in your raid
-reserved raid spot with feral and MM hunter
-lot of MM hunters in your raid(>4)
In any other case survival hunter is poor choice for a raid spot.
