Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I don't think I'll be raiding with my hunter, it's more for fun and occasional grinding and pvp. She's currently 34. I thought that the above talents should work well enough for leveling and what I already mentioned.

I got Deflection because I seem to get wrecked in melee pretty often. The points in MM are for Aimed Shot since it should wreck clothies nicely plus the extended range should be useful. Rest in BM. I didn't pick Improved Mend Pet since it's not guaranteed to cleanse my pet and I heard that it's bugged too? How about Bestial Swiftness, does it actually work? I'm using the Ghost Sabre for Prowl though I guess I should go try my luck with Broken Tooth but if Bestial Swiftness works with Prowl, then that would be fantastic.

I think skipping Mortal Shots in MM is a big mistake since it's a bunch of extra damage. Instead of skipping it for Deflection you might want to get Improved Aspect of the Monkey, if you feel like you need the melee avoidance. Melee opponents are however much easier to deal with if you have Scatter Shot (+FD trap). Since you don't plan on raiding (long fights) it's fine to skip Improved Aspect of the Hawk, otherwise I'd definitely recommend that.
