I know a lot of you have realized that standing on the hill top that's closest to demon spawn turns out to be a bad idea, if the demon spawns, and aggros to a spectator while a hunter is attempting the demon, it will despawn as we've seen multiple times.

To fix this, it's been suggested that you should go stand closer to the cliff sides away from the spawn point as to not have this happen, as well as let the demon path down the path a little bit to ensure no aggro (in case someone's afk).

Another thing that would be very smart to do to avoid any despawns or bad luck, is dismiss all your pets, so there's not any chance of an accidental despawn if the demon does aggro on you, if it detects the pet on its threat table, it will despawn as well. Even if it's just coming after you.

TL;DR

Stand further away from the spawn point, and dismiss all pets.

We should make a petition for change spawn timer. I know its "blizzlike" but effect is not blizzlike due to overpopulation. Situation like that never occured on vanilla servers, its really gamebreaking. I myself am nearly done with the quest so I can stomach this bullshit but I sorta pity hunters that will start the quest once AQ opens. Silithus demon will be super fun i guess.... as the BS one is atm.

I agree, that we should start a pertition. Is just insane with this many people and despawns /:
It won't get better with time, it will just get worse and worse.

I would suggest that they maybe lowered the spawn time, for a short period of time, to wipe out the masses on the quest. then change it back to normal...

Just getting a try on the BS demon, is really hard when there is 10-15 people at every spawn. :p

I finaly did BS when listened to advice that i should start him down the hill but fight him up there where is drake most of time, couldnt do it without help of other hunters who picked up and cleared mobs respawning while I was fighting demon. Also helped that i tried him prior on PTR so i can grasp fight, got no issues after, so if you have leaf on your char there try it, just leave him alive once you got him low so others can try it too. Also try to move as far as posible from him after wing clip, so you can get 1 or 2 autoshots in between melee, he comes down way faster like that.
