My pets have no spells besides growth

I tamed two different pets already ( raptor, cat) and both have only growl as spell... ive asked many people and nobody has this issue.. what should i do to fix it?

I dont know the lvl req. outta my head but u get a spell called beastlore at arround 30
most lowlvl pets dont hava abilities just relax growl is all ya need;-)
With beastlore u can check beast abilities before taming that helps quite a lot to get them spell updates.
