Pet resistances bugged? (PvE Realm)
Posted: Tue Nov 17, 2015 12:46 amSo there I was in Felwood, killing Jadenar cultists and adepts, and I found that my poor pet was getting severely hammered by the fire/shadow spells that they were casting.
Both myself and pet were level 50.
Fair enough I thought, as I only had level 1 resistances trained (+30 to all).
Later I came back to the same mobs, with level 2 resistances (+60) for all except level 3 for Fire/Shadow (+90?).
To my disappointment I found my pet taking essentially the same large damage chunks from their fireballs and shadow bolts.
So is this a case of:
a. Working as intended, classic Blizzard vanilla 'not really working'?
b. A glitch or known bug?
c. Pet resistances really don't do much in vanilla?
d. Something else?
