Pet doesnt cast its special attacks?

Well..for some reason...my pet almost always has 80-100 focus. I have a cat. It has Bite and Claw turned on

I know pets gain 25 focus per 4 seconds( or something like that) but my pet always has that 80 focus. Checking the combat log I can see the pet using these skills but the pet is ''slowly'' using them..not spamming them.

I made a macro for pet to spam claw and bite and kept tapping it and at least the pet started emptying its focus bar. Or am I just being paranoid or something and the pet actually attacks?

Not sure if this will help but I had a similar issue. What I did was:

Un-click all abilities, ie growl bite claw dash
Send pet onto a mob and manually use each ability
Click them all back on to auto

Seemed to solve it for me.
