Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hey guys, quick question. I just hit lvl 20 on my hunter and loving it so far actually, but I can learn all these pet spells and abilities from the pet trainer like natural armor, arcane, nature, shadow resistance and the ability growl rank 3. How does my pet actually get these things? I have the quest pet echeyakee but on his pet page all resistances are still 0 and still no growl ability..

The pet trainer teaches you, not the pet. You have to train the pet yourself.

Oh ok, but how do i train the pet these skills?

Well isn't my face red.. I just found the beast training button in my spell book and trained up my pet to the max... Crackers is a beast now! lol thanks for the help!

You really only need Growl, Stam and some Natural Armour from the trainer to teach your pet.

The next step is to learn Claw, Bite, Dash or w/e. These you learn from other creatures by taming that creature, using the ability such as Claw until you learn it, then abandoning that pet and teaching your new spell to your old pet
