Which range and melee weapon use?

Hi. Dwarf Hunter here.

I want to know which typoe of ranged and melee weapon fits better to the dwarf hunter. I'm level 13 and I'm using the fire weapon of the dwarves, but I heard than the better high tier weapon is not a gun. What should I use? I'm planning to do PvP.

For leveling it really doesn't matter what weapon you use as long as you get upgrades that have better dps. Obviously if you have a choice between a bow, xbow, and a gun, you choose the gun. At 60 the only two guns that i would even consider to be good is:

Flawless Arcanite Rifle for pre-raid.

and

Larvae of the Great Worm for raiding.

Yea but for pvp at lvl 60? I heard that tje better range weapon is not a gun, so maybe is better to change now,to bow o crossbow. Im asking this because now I only have skill on Guns. If I start to lvl another skill weapon again, it took me a lot of time?

Weapon skill increases pretty quickly at lvl 60, you don't have to worry about that at all while leveling. Just use whatever weapon is currently the best for you. Weapon skill isn't very important for hunters anyway.

The best weapon available before raids is the Bloodseeker crossbow which you will get from a quest in AV, available at lvl 51. http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=19107

Oh, I understand. I though that becuase it tooks me 13 lvl to have gun skill at 70, so I though that If I change now the time it will takes to lvl up the new type of weapon will be similar.

Anyway, personally, in PvP, for you, what is the best ranged weapon?


And, also, I do not what to forget, what melee weapon too? Axe? Dobulbe Axe? Sword? Knife?

At lvl 60 you can increase a weapon skill from 0 to around 290 in about an hour. The best ranged weapons in PvP are the same ones as in PvE. Right now they are Ashjre'thul(BWL)>Grand Marshal's Gun/Crossbow>Rhok'delar(MC hunter quest)>Bloodseeker(AV quest).

In PvP you want a 2 handed weapon that has nice stats on it. Hunters obviously want to stay out of melee most of the time, but when you get into melee range you generally want to do a quick raptor strike + wing clip and to maximize your damage with that you want a 2 handed weapon. However until you have either Ashkandi(BWL) or Lok'delar(MC hunter quest) you should probably stick with whatever weapons give you the best stats, regardless if it's a 2 handed weapon or a dual wield.
