soloing group content with a pet
Posted: Mon Feb 01, 2016 8:22 amIf you solo group questing content, should you dismiss your pet in order to avoid aggro and pathing issues, or is it enough to toggle passive/defensive/aggressive? I'm especially concerned about tight quarters where you have to move slowly to avoid aggroing a bajillion meelee mobs plus their caster buddies. Since that's normally group content, the mobs you killed off two minutes ago have usually respawned behind you, which can make pathing and pet aggressiveness disastrous. (Plus I hate the thought of running away and leaving my pet to die. Call me sentimental.)
