Hi Hunters

recently i tamed Broken Tooth on PvE server and leveled him to lvl60
now if i compare the DPS of my BT with others its slightly higher( the other hunters have 63 DPS) Oo

with Trueshot:


without Trueshot its 41-53 -> 47.3 DPS

none of us has in Beast Mastery besides Improved Aspect of the Hawk

so: where come the difference from?

Yup, mine has 63 DPS aswell (55-71 dmg) weird O.o

However another weird thing i noticed about pets is that, if u use scrolls on a pet that is not level 60 he will get minus stats. I noticed this when i was leveling BT and it was level 54-56, I was farming satyrs and scrolls often drop by them and wanted to see the dps increase - however it turned out to be dps decrease lmao

Edit: huh..... So apperently my pet has more dps than urs without trueshot aura (49-63 dmg, 56,3 DPS) but less than urs when it gets trueshot aura

my idea was:

on another server pet stats were reset after you reset the talent points...i never reset the points with my BT...
just an idea...

Unfortunately I never got round to playing on Nostralius which is a shame.

Anyway to answer your question regarding Brokentooth's attack speed. My main hunter from 2006-present had Brokentooth as main pet.

The main reason for his different attack speeds and damage was due to speccing points in feral swiftness which brought his damage down, but caused him to attack at 0.70 down from 1.00... In addition when the frenzy ability ability procced it sped his attack speed to 0.30 for X amount of seconds which I forget exactly.

I hope this clears up the debate where the alteration is.
