Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hunter's Taming the Beast quest is bugged. I've done the first part of the quest line (taming a boar) than tried to the second part (taming a Surf Crawler), but when I go to tame a Surf Crawler it tells me it is a "Invalid Target"?

I've tried to do some research on forums and just about all of them said to abandon the quest, exit WoW, and delete WDB folder to reset the cache data and one of the forums said to delete BOTH WDB and WTF folders and also disable ALL addons. I've also tried /script PetAbandon() with / without the quest and still I keep getting the same result.

I just figured it out... thanks to a willing Hunter to help me lmao.

You have to go to Sin'jin Village and go to the islands to find a Surf Crawler the quest wants you to tame, then it will allow you to tame it.

Also if you can't abandon you're pet just type /script PetAbandon()
