Sure your pet can sometimes resist a spell, but with 0 across the board, it's very, very unlikely. Now if you do in fact have pet trained with resistances, and yes you do have to train them for it, then this would be fine to say they aren't resisting more than without them.
Also if you really did "play vanilla back in the day", you would know hunter pets were one of the easiest things to CC in PvP.
I know what resistances are, how to get them and how they should work. Please read the title again, where I clearly use the word "resistances" instead of just saying something along the lines of "my pet doesn't resist shit". Also, stop thinking that everybody is as stupid as you once were and instead try to contribute to the topic.
Btw I still believe this is the case, and I'm glad more people have the same impression. Maybe at some point they will look into it

Well, at least it's good to hear that they can actually resist stuff. I used to play mage in vanilla, so I can't really know how much the actual % should be, but I'm pretty confident that I
often lost the fight vs hunters, just because of some stupid resist (inb4 random autist shitposts, saying that it was the result of BW immunity).
