Dealing with viper sting?

Never really fought many hunters in wpvp but recently fought one and had no idea how to counterract viper sting. i thought maybe there was some cooldown on it (never played hunt) so drank a jungle rememdy but he jsut reapplied it instantly. couldn't even get near enough to wand and daze him my mana was gone so fast.

any ways of dealing with this?, im shadow spec atm.

Get more mana.

You pretty much have to be undead and use devouring + swp on em, and then try to LoS them

A bigger mana pool or mp5, since when you are being mana drained your spirit based mana regen doesn't apply.
And it doesn't really even matter since you are trying to kill him quickly.

Edit: Also don't be afraid to fear his pet, as you prob won't be able to approach the hunter to fear him, and be sure
to attack him, every Mind Blast cd and smite, as longer fight = hunter's advantage

Anti-venom is best option (other than master race dorf) because it doesnt share potion cd
