Shadow priest and AQ

Uh... don't run full consumables when learning the fight?
You surely realise shadow priests use mostly the same consumables as everybody else (except the big amounts of mana pots / runes). If you're dumb with spamming them, then it's your fault, not the build's ;o

Don't build up rank1 SWP, waste of dps. You'll be at 3 stacks before warlocks' shadowbolts reach the boss, and they don't care anyway

Ya idk where people got this idea that wasting 4 gcd's for 12/15% increase is worth it. Just start out with mb, swp, a mindflay, throw in a vamp embrace if you guild uses you for it, then start the cycle.

Shadow priest is about raid utility and boosting warlock damage. If spriest didn't have shadow weaving or vamp embrace, you could just replace them with a warlock and have better dps

what? ofc shadow priests are there to buff warlocks.

i am saying precasting 4 stacks weaving has nothing to do with the warlocks but to snapshot a stronger sw:p.

that is unless weaving's damage bonus is applied dynamically as it it should be. tested?

Even if it wasn't, you could cast 2 flays in the time you spend wasting gcds on r1 SWP. The overall damage output will still be much bigger.

Just go: max rank SWP - 2x MF - MB - 2x MF... etc, pop trinket(s) on 2nd cycle.
or put MB right after SWP if you want your tank to have a heart attack.

You didn't specify which boss... Most bosses you are killing should be killed fast enough, you won't have time for a second trinket pop (ZHC or ToeP) regardless

Easiest way to know wich trinkets to use and when to pop is to look back on old raidlogs to see average killtimes then just go with gutfeeling, i mean each guild have pretty different killtimers so wich trinkets to use (zhc or toep) and when to pop changes from guild to guild atleast from an SPs point of view.
