ive gotten better at fighting hunters i killed a few 60 hunters today at lvl 58 just by having some elixir of poison resistance and utilizing my blackout procs to get in their dead zone and fear. its worth using inner focus to use on DP too vs hunters I have found.

You should always be using Inner Focus on Devouring Plague.

What about the times when enemies are low on HP and say we land a fear or blackout proc and they are in kill range of say an IF'd mind blast? If I see a kill opportunity I take it, especially if a MB crit would seal the deal. I would say its situational. I use it for may things rlly but like u say its very appealing to use w/ DP just for the mana cost reduction/sustained dmg/healing.

sure 1v1 yes, but in bgs most hunters hang near healers and just toss out viper stings.

ehm use line of sight.
Kill his pet.. hunters hate when we kill their pets.
Once pet is killed he either resummons it or runs a way

if resummon.. kill it again..
again.. use line of sight!
