Priest Weapon Discipline Missing - Staff

I just noticed, when looting a staff today that I did not have the Staff weapon proficiency. From what I remember it was stock for a priest. Just in case it wasn't I went to the weaponmaster in UC - and no staff proficiency there either.

Anyone else have this problem?

Also, can't equip a fishing pole.... too bad I can't fish with a dagger

The weapon master in UC does not provide staff training. For that you have to go to TB or Orgrimmar and visit the weapon masters there.

You need to learn fishing in order to equip a fishing pole.

Thanks for the info! I must have found some dated information that stated Staves were out of the box in this version.
