Could anyone link me an idea build for levelling talents and gear to focus on? I get it's spirit and int. Also maxed wand damage in talents and spirit tap. What next?

How to build your priest whilst leveling is quite simple apart from 10 must have talents. You already know this but... first 5 levels grab Spirit Tap, next 5 levels grab 5/5 in Wand Specializaton like this http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#bVZZx . After you've put those talents in it's all about moving down the shadow tree, something like this http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#bVZZxMgzctoo (you take silence because you'll be forced to PvP at some point). After hitting 40 you respec to Shadow Form at 40 like this http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#bZZxMgzctot while taking Wand Specialization up to 45. You also have the option to take one point in Blackout for the fun of it early on (I did), but it won't proc too often, though it can come in handy.

After you've hit 45 it starts to not matter too much what you pick. I personally maxed out Blackout and it was pretty decent. You can also choose to go down the disc tree right away to get Inner Focus and Meditation.

I had written some stuff about the spell rotation and gear, but the forum's anti-DDOS software decided to fuck me over and remove all of that with its "loading". Just go for spirit gear above all else: Spirit > Spell dmg > Int > Stam. The spell rotation is simple and you'll figure it out right away.

5 points spirit tap
5 points wand spec
spend rest of ur points in Disc

shield > swp > wand
only spend gold to upgrade your wand cuz that's your primary dps

Why would you level Disc? Shadow is far superior:

+10% hit chance, extremely useful
+2 SWP ticks for free, lots of extra damage
+20% shadow spell range
Mind flay, very mana efficient and slows as well
Stacking +shadow damage debuff
+10% shadow damage talent
and Shadowform, of course

like...seriously why would you use disc for leveling?

Leveling as disc is so stupid. I am not sure why Procto would advocate for it seeing as he usually knows what he is talking about.

I used MB once or twice for my kills, at the start and in between my wand and I did not have any mana problems.

you want to level as holy, at least to lvl 40-45. some people continue to level as holy/disc while some like the jump to shadow at lvl 40. it all comes down do how you want to complete levels 40-60

Don't listen to that guy.

Level as shadow all the way outside of 5 points in disc for wand. Shadow is so much better that it's not even a discussion at this point. Gotmilk gave a perfect explanation as to why Shadow is far superior.

level Disc/holy cuz minimal downtime, you never have to stop.

if you want to level as shadow as I did 40+ then go for Shadowform then 5 in imp wand in Disc.

the con as shadow leveling is that u have to drink after nuking 1-2 mobs, whereas you don't if u level holy/disc.

You have to drink after 2 mobs if you play like a moron and on top of that don't take spirit gear, sure...

I NEVER had a problem with mana leveling as shadow. I just didn't spam my skills 24/7 and used my wand mostly, but I did use 1-2 MB on each mob for the most part. Got there in 6 days and 3 hours despite getting ganked a lot in STV. I don't think that's a bad playtime, of course not the best, but much better than the average of 10 days.

I don't care if you are some sort of a "PvP god", you know nothing about shadow leveling, which is evident in your stupid claims of "shadow needs to drink after 1-2 mobs". Please don't make me laugh with your ignorant claims that are obviously false.

From my own experience leveling as shadow: For the most part I would be able to use mind blast once or twice per mob together with shield,SWP and wand, then at some point I would run low on mana and I would only be able to use shield, SWP + wand (which is only what Procto did), then my mana would regen over doing it to about 1-2 mobs and I would be back to normal. I downranked my shields with no problems to make room for even more mana to be spent. I pretty much almost never had to drink.

I don't really see any reason to argue with Procto any further as he (and I) obviously has his mind set in stone. Now it's up to you OP to go with what you think would be the most reasonable, whether that is shadow or disc is up to you. Good luck!

You just justified the leveling as Holy/disc by what you just said, so considering you're not nuking, and you still don't have any SPD to make any difference in dmg.
You'll have more survivability with this spec and you won't get to kill mobs faster with your method, once u get high enough you can Holy Fire SWP Smite, or just holy fire swp wand.

There really isn't any point in going Shadow until you get Shadowform because the spells just cost more mana and rly don't do enough damage, + you will have more downtime compared to the spec advised.

The fastest I've ever leveled as a priest was going shadow right away, with 5 imp wand, I made sure I got water ALL the time, usually 12-16stacks, did 2-3 levels then got more in town while learning new necessary spells.

Most knowledgable priests will agree here, you are one of the nay sayers and you have right to be entitled to your opinion because it works, I've been there too.
