Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi!

Me and my pala tank always play together and we do all instanses on our way up then qs in between. Is there anything special we should think of while leveling this way (i see lots of other leveling guides but they are focused on single person leveling.

My second question is what spec to go with when we ding 60 and all we wanna do is instanses or other 5 man things ( because of small kids we wont be able to do big raids)

Well, if you're 100% sure that you're always with him, you might as well drop Spirit Tap since that talent is beneficial when you solo. It can proc while in a party but the odds are against it so 5 points there is wastage.

So start off with Wand Spec since you will be wanding quite often to finish off mobs when no healing is needed.

Aside from that, pally and holy priest combine pretty well, so picking up the Holy talents that increase damage/crit chance for Smite and Holy Fire are useful.

Holy Nova isn't strictly necessary since your pally-friend will have consecrate but if you ever need to farm DM E or run into a big pack of critters, it's useful. Plus you can use rank 1 to flush out rogues. Inspiration is a must to help tanks and Searing Light will increase your dps. Meditation is a must to help with mana. Improved PWF and PWS are quite useful both in PvP and PvE situations.

After that it's really up to you. Since paladins have no HoTs, you might want to pick the Improved Renew or you might want Inner Focus so you can cast Prayer of Healing for free every 5 mins. Improved Healing is a no-brainer if you're going to focus on being a healer. Divine Spirit is another useful buff that many priests pick, so you might want to work on that.

Don't forget that Paladins won't yell at you for putting PW:S on them as they tank like Warriors do (no rage). So feel free to put a shield on us

Dude, bubble on the pull...work with me here. Mana isn't anything I was referring to.

I'm merely pointing out the fact that if you bubble a paladin while tanking it isn't ZOMG detrimental to his ability to tank in the way that bubbling a warrior while tanking neuters his ability to generate rage and therefore threat in the process.

even with PWS on me , my damage return still works + remember my calculations ? my aggro is not rage building , my aggro is Return damage with melee swings and ofc consecrations . (which have 0 relation with pws).

if you watch all the videos you would notice why pws is not at all important for me if it is on me or not.

take a look at graveyard especially. and later cathedral.

and improved pws is far more efficient for pulls (pre pull bubble) for many things.
i'd agree if pws is not improved since normal pws is crap . but improved pws is op.

(mental agility will solve that "mana" issue with pws) .

go for this spec - starting by discipline talent tree , it work perfect with my irl when i tank on my runs . he don't oom that fast and thus his pws allows him enough time to assist with the wand on dmg

Shielding tank gives you time drinking while he goes for the next pack, and it doesn't pull aggro like renew.

When i Tank as Paladin , i always spit to Healers for using Renew pre pull.

It pulls aggro from you before you land some swing/hit/return dmg . and is just worthless mana wasting for Paladin.

Meanwhile i enjoy with PWS on me,it absorb the damage when i massive pull and doesn't steal aggro + damage return works still (bugged or not) .
