Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hey guys,

I played during Vanilla and TBC as a holy paladin, so when rolling on here I wanted to play a mighty priest. I am now almost level 40, but I am beginning to notice that a decision I made without even thinking may have been bad.

I rolled Nightelf. I love nightelfs, so I just figured racials weren't that important so who cares. As it turns out, they are by far the worst priests. Is this bad enough that I shouldn't bother leveling to 60? Is it worth the reroll?

I don't really think it is, but I don't want to be low priority for raiding just because I am a nightelf.

Sure it's the worst choice, and it offers pretty much nothing good for you in terms of raiding. You would prolly be at a minor disadvantage when applying for guilds, but I do think most guilds will have enough dwarf priest to not make it a to big of an issue.

Personally I would deffo not reroll at lvl 40, but then again I would never choose NE priest either

NE priests are the most sexy ones. And we are the first ressers to get back after a wipe due to our racial

Not sure if the fact that you are better than other priests when dead is a plus.
While a night elf priest is dead and running back a dwarf/human is alive with a 10min CD on Desperate Prayer.

Starshards is awesome on chromaggus.

You can use shadowmeld to drop combat and rezz the raid and prevent a long run back. It's still viable in a lot of situations. :p Not the absolute worst choice (imo trolls are pretty garbage as priests compared to all the other races, but that's my opinion) I'd stick with it. Shadowmeld is also useful in pvp

Shadowmeld can't be used in combat.

It would be ridiculously overpowered to allow an entire race to have a vanish that not only broke target but also combat.

Ah. What patch did they make it able to be used in combat? I know at one point you could use it in combat. But it's been awhile since I played a NE.

Dwarf got fear ward, human has 10% spirit, and night elf is useless... Since you don't care about min maxing based on your race choice then don't bother rerolling

Beta? I dunno. I started playing in like 1.2 or 1.3 and I can remember ever using it to drop combat.
