Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I'm wondering if it's possible to heal instances such as strat/scholo as shadow? Of course it's not prefered, but I just thought it would be easier that way at the beginning so I can do some actual farming while not running instances. Any thoughts on this?

Well if you calculate the bonus healing you get from being holy its only about 10% to healing, here comes the 25% bonus to sp from spirit as well, after that the decreased cast time and boost to several spells comes in.

If you have the gear and maybe a few consumeables, it could be done, however I havent tried it myself tho.

Shadow priests heal 5 mans (and even UBRS if you're not solo and even then you can do it if your group has proper CC and isn't full of idiots) just fine.

Src: I was a shadow priest in Vanilla retail and healed Strat/Scholo runs all day with my guild trying to farm Baron's mount.

We had a level 54 priest do fine healing strat baron. he was shadow as well
