Have to agree here i read through their website and guild charter. The most important question for them is what their favorite boss fight is... I looked through a hand full of their applications and they are dismissed on that premise. Not my cup of tea mate.

The intention of the application process is to ensure that Exiled is the right guild for YOU, not the other way around.

If we aren't your cup of tea, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that and we wish you the best of luck in finding a guild that is right for you. Thank you for taking the time to read through our guild charter!

If you can't be fucked to take a two minute skim through a guild charter to get the answer to the easiest litmus test out there, what makes you think a guild would trust you to take a two minute skim to read up on boss fights you haven't done yet, learn class mechanics, farm consumables, not burnout after two weeks of raiding, or just about anything to set you apart from the mindless cattle that make up the bulk of a "filler" raiders?

It's a way to show comprehension of the charter, people who don't put effort in are not considered.

If you are interested in joining Exiled, I'd like to remind you of a few things. First and foremost, we have a very competitive raiding core, and we are relatively comfortable with our raiding roster; therefore, only exceptional applicants are being taken into consideration.

If we ask you to do a few simple tasks (i.e. format your questions and read the charter), you must comply with our requests. Furthermore, we don't appreciate it when players say "Yeah I've read the charter", and then it is glaringly obvious from their application that they have not. There is nothing exceptional about an inability to follow directions. If you can't follow the most basic instructions, how can we expect you to do what we ask at end-game content?

I'd also like to remind potential applicants that "clicking" your abilities and an obvious lack of keybindings is grounds for an immediate decline.

In closing I'd like to provide you with a cheat-sheet to winning.

  1. Can you format your questions and read the guild charter?
  2. Have you done the proper research on your class of choice?
  3. Do you keybind your abilities?

If all of these answers are yes, welcome to Exiled.
