Very large guild with a good subset of dedicated players who are great to group with, especially now when everyone is leveling it's easy to coordinate some good questing groups.

Unfortunately I was removed from this guild without even knowing, and the leaders made no effort to let me know (messaging me when I'm visibly AFK and don't even respond), I was just silently removed while I was away from the computer.

Cited reasons were "not being a good fit for the guild" when I messaged after finding out I was removed. This was in-game after forum messages were seemingly ignored. I was told it was a "unanimous" decision, even though my 4-5 day stint in the guild was essentially un-eventful in terms of actual guild matters or even much grouping. I was told that it had to do with "several" confrontations, despite the fact there were none except for a small conversation the day before about some addon questions in relation to warrior abilities I was asking (which was met with aggressive and somewhat passive-aggressive responses from players who are very confident in their knowledge about the class towards skeptic types). It wasn't a confrontation so much as members of the guild being seemingly defensive of their skill towards folks who like to ask tougher questions about vanilla classes they are new to. I was told that wasn't even the reason. It was obviously frustrating to be removed from a guild for context that could not even be provided for you, even when you ask directly. This information is apparently confidential.

In any case, I can't recommend this guild to anyone who has a strong affinity towards refining their play on a newer class. I recommend already knowing the class thoroughly as a veteran vanilla player otherwise you might be observed to be clueless by other more experienced members of your class, instead of just inquisitive and verbally and experimentally observant.

In any case they have a strong core and I see them making some good progress, so it's a shame it didn't work out as I seek the same goals as they do with every bit the same experience and skill to do it, but just be wary of their officer-core when you're a new member, wait a little bit before you decide to go in-depth in gchat on mechanics opinions. I believe my removal was done in a less-than-respectful and somewhat confusing way, and I'm just giving advice for others to not experience the same, but don't let that keep you from throwing caution to the wind and giving them a try.

Good luck Exiled and future applicants.

Warrior is probably the most difficult class to min max, especially for DPS. Ranging from pre raid bis, to consumables, even leveling time.

If your knowledge was in question at all, its pretty routine to just issue a dismissal without any formality.

Felt like just typing L2P, but JPD got a rough shaft from a prior Admin, and I feel I need to defend this post by saying what they did sounds more than reasonable.
