We're a guild from another private server that is down for an un-set amount of time. We were one of the top Alliance raiding / leveling guilds, and I would love to see this guild flourish on this server, too.

Yes, the guild allows non-dwarves, but your rank will be Slave (this is for pure RP purposes -- the Dwarf / Slave ranks have the same exact abilities, it's just a different name).

You may ask something along the lines of, oh, I don't know... but teddyburr, you're a massive fgt and nobody likes you, how are you even going to lead a guild?
I'm not. Kadol probably isn't (former Guild Master), and Ezum probably isn't (preceding Guild Master). I will be more than happy to start the guild and pass leadership onto somebody I see fit (ex: a Noble from the guild that has decided to come play here with us). Kadol has work all the time, I'm starting college, and Ezum has school. None of us will be able to govern the guild. I'd love to have this guild on the server, though, even though Kadol/Ezum may not come play.

I don't know if this will take off or not, but it'd be neat for it to do so. If anybody is going to join the dorf lord's, I'd appreciate it if you'd say so below.

Just to put this in context for everyone here:

Hi I'm Tappaz - I'm a Noble / Officer / Class Lead / Raid Leader within the Dwarven Overlords. As Teddy put it our server is experiencing downtime atm. Our guild as a whole has been trying to find alternatives and more permanent solutions to get our WoW fix. Teddy bought this server to our attention and so far is looking promising.

Though to be honest Teddy, after speaking to most of our officers, their Vanilla days live or die by our current server status. Since that would be the case it would most likely fall to yourself to me GL though I'd be happy to help. Since I plan to keep playing Vanilla regardless.

This doesn't really concern me. But I did play on Rebirth myself for a long time, and I know your guild there.
It seems from your forum post over there, that a lot of your players don't want to roll on here, because they don't want to invest a lot of time into doing it all over again. It's understandable.

But then there's some over there that said their vanilla days are over, but they would be game for a BC server. That comes off as strange to me, as Nostalrius has already said they're going to make a BC server as well that will come in good release after all the content is released in a blizzlike manner on their Vanilla server.
And you will be able to COPY characters from the vanilla server, to the BC one, to continue progressing. And they said they might go all the way up to WotLK in the future.

The project of Nostalrius isn't just vanilla, you know. I think most people here overlook that statement however, but the devs have this written down.
