(NA) The Nilla Wafers (PvE Raiding)
Posted: Mon Jun 08, 2015 4:49 amThe North American, English speaking guild, The Nilla Wafers is looking to fill out our raid team for End Game content. We are looking for stable, patient, and loyal raiders to join us in conquering all of vanilla and beyond!
We are currently 10/10 Molten Core and 1/1 Onyxia. Currently Progressing through Blackwing Lair where we are 2/8.
We raid Sundays and Mondays 3am-7am SERVER TIME!
That's 6pm-10pm PST or 9pm-1am EST.
We are looking for the following classes/specs
Druid (Bear) - Closed
Druid (Feral) - Closed
Druid (Resto) - Closed
Hunter - Closed
Mage - Closed
Paladin (Holy) - Closed
Priest (Holy) - Low
Rogue - Closed
Warlock - Closed
Warrior (Fury) - Closed
Warrior (Tank) - Closed
What we are looking for in a potential recruit.
1) Level 50+
As we are currently raiding we need people that are raid ready or very close to being raid ready. Therefore the minimum requirement to be slotted into a raid position is level 55.
2) Able to attend 80% of all raids.
We only raid 2 days a week. High attendance is a must to maintain a raid position.
3) Team player, that helps out others outside of raids.
Raiding is a tiresome exercise. The burden is eased if a guild can come together and share the work load.
4) An upstanding member of Nostralius
Members must do their best to represent the guild to the best their ability. As such, certain behaviors are unacceptable to us and will lead to your immediate denial or removal. These behaviors are Real life threats, Ninja looting, Quest giver griefing, flight path camping, flight master killing, and excessive grey killing/camping.
5)Patience!
Patience to get through some tough fights but the patience and patience to handle rough patches. We want people in it for the long haul that aren't easily discouraged by bad loot luck or the server having the occasional bad week.
What the The Nilla Wafers can offer.
1) Fair, experienced leadership and the possibility to be a part of it.
Our small team of Officers have leadership in not only vanilla but many other MMOs over the years. We know what it takes to lead a successful guild want to make it happen again here. Just like many of you, this is a second chance to do vanilla right!
3)Fair and impartial loot system.
One of main reasons we are here and as such we know it is a primary source of tension which can lead to the destruction of a guild. For this reason we have chosen to adapt the Shroud Loot System. SLS awards points for time invested rather than for kills. You can spend earned points two ways. You can bid and hope to win a /roll against other raiders or you can spend half of your total points to outright win an item. This system is, in our opinion, the most fair system that allows new members to step in and gear up, prevent inflation, and prevent point hoarding as well as reward people for prolonged and continued attendance.

4)A community of people that just want to have fun.
First and foremost we just want to have fun reliving the golden age of World of Warcraft. We have members of all sexes and creeds. We expect members to be mindful of this. To know if they are crossing the line or better yet, know where the line is to begin with.
