<team dog> Progressive, Competitive, Social. [PvE & PvP]
Posted: Wed Feb 18, 2015 4:00 amScratching the long wordy post and the silly name, we really are just a group of friends looking to enjoy the experience of vanilla and overcome all of it's challenges, If that sounds like it interest you, give us a read.
<team dog> is a guild looking to form on the launch of Nostalrius, founding off myself and a handful of other players of who've known each other for years from retail. Despite the smaller starting numbers, we're intent on establishing ourselves as a successful and recognized guild. This starting roster is primarily North American, meaning most activity will be evening-night US Time zones, though no discrimination to those from around the world if your times can sync up.
PvP & PvE
Both PvE and PvP are in focus for us. We will be encouraging and regularly doing PvP in aims to be considered a threat in the world and ranked amongst the best in battlegrounds, as well as leading and structuring dungeons / raids depending on appropriate interest. We do not want to be recognized as a laid back / social guild dipping their toes in each, but ambitious enough to be considered respectable in both.
For further clarification on PvE ;The light specifics aren't to be taken as a non follow-through. We don't want an immediate agenda for people to feel obligated to and rush to 60 for. We're looking to find like minded competitive and social players first, then build and organize around that rather then put out a role / class requirement list and boot those who don't fit.
Socialisation
Despite earlier distinguishing ourselves apart from a social guild, we believe having a strong social bond between each player is cardinal to the success of a guild in any MMO. We do not want players silently sitting around for an officer to invite them to a battleground or set up a raid night. We want players who are interested in regularly and comfortably interacting with each other to help create a cohesive social atmosphere. Skype is pretty common for normal chit chat, and we'll use appropriate VoIP for larger events, etc.
Experience :
We carry high amounts of PvE and PvP experience from retail WoW, from realm first kills to competing with Blizzcon champions in arena. We want to use that experience to help lead and apply universal skills, not be elitest, and only require you have the right attitude towards the game and are open to criticism to be a part of our guild.
