Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I was fooling around on the instant 60 server and I decided to make my own spec.. http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#IV0wVRboZbxZxx0tMbz I did shockingly well. I had dots when I needed to kite and direct damage when I'm not being focused/am in no danger and can cast. The thing is, I can either go siphon life (keeps rogues out of stealth for even longer and also heals me for a bit) with 5/5 fel concentration and 4/5 imp drain life or... I can could go with fel domination and have 3/5 improved drain life and 4/5 fel conc.

I'm unsure if this build is viable but I was able to kill any class with t2.5+.. any inputs?

imp drain life is bugged and doesnt work. I recommend a 7/7/35+2 for BG PvP. You can currently run Soul Link and do very well if you run with a priest/paladin/shaman to res your pet for the MD/DS/SL buff stacking. Traditional SM/Ruin isn't terrible for pvp either.

All are valid builds, but destruction with seduce/fear juggles between nukes is just plain better.

I always use succi for this build (should have clarified) but is drain life really bugged? Should I just spec into suppression then? I enjoy destro but I would need more gear for that and affliction is for the big fights. That spread dot dmg in vanilla is godly.

Improved drain life is not bugged. The problem with going deep destro is the lack of decent gear for it. It will be much better when DM is released though. I'm going soul link atm mainly because I'm not skilled enough to fully use a destro build. I tried it and I just got murdered instantly, SL helps a bit. Also with the amount of mages in BGs your felhunter will do a good job of removing their shields and spell locking them.

My best advice is to run SM/Ruin or SL and to use a felhunter. It makes rogues / warrior harder but basically every other class is easier except hunter. If rogues / warriors are really giving you trouble, go SM/Ruin, get curse of exhaustion, use Free Action Potions. and kite them! Paranoia also is really good for catching rogues in stealth.

Improved Drain Life works fine.
