Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

So I'm at the quest in Ratchet/Desolace where I have to cboose between capturing a Infernal or a Felhunter - I captured the Felhunter, turned it in back to the lady in Ratchet. She's now saying I have to capture an Infernal and bring it to Tabitha in the Swamps. Yet I don't have a crystal to capture one, since I used it on the Felhunter.

I went to Tabitha but she just has a grey question mark over her head. I've tried abandoning the quest, but it doesn't get me anywhere.

Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?

The Infernal Orb drops from Burning Blade Summoners in Desolace.

For a moment while doing this quest I thought I was on two unrelated chains... I didn't get why she didn't offer the orb/staff when I turned in the first crystal either.

... and that's what you need to take to Duskwallow, where she'll pull the 40 elite demon out of it for you to kill.

Ah, Summoners. Got it. What is with choosing the infernal or Felhunter though?

If you choose the felhunter, you get a choice of shadow damage weapons, but if you choose the infernal you get a choice of fire damage weapons instead.

Only a fool would willingly pick the Infernal, that shadow offhand will last you until raids.
