Lash of Pain and ISB Charges

Since succubus lash of pain uses up improved shadow bolt charges, is it optimal for warlocks to just turn off lash of pain in a group? Assuming using the succubus in the first place, like in a 0/30/21 MD/ruin spec.

In a group where ISB charges matter, a warlock should never be using a pet. Period.

Your pet is welcome to stand by your side on passive and invis. You are not welcome have it running around aggroing mobs with bad pathing. Occasionally, you might be called to emergency seduce.

Stop giving us a bad name.

Do shadow damage based wands eat up ISB charges too? I don't have one on me right now to test it out.
