What Professions as Lock?

What Professions as Lock?

by afrotea » Fri Feb 27, 2015 11:45 am

Yo

I will play Lock the first time in WoW. I used to play Hunter. What Professions should I go for?
Is Engineer also very useful in PvP as Lock? Because I though I could go Tailor and maybe Enchanter first and then drop one later and go for Engineer (altough I dont know if it is "easy" to change the Prof as in TBC).

Thank you for your answer

Tailoring for Bloodvine set later when ZG comes out and Alchemy or Enchanting for PVE and if you PVP take Engineering

I would go mining + engineering at the start, then once you hit 300 eng and made your gadgets, drop mining for tailoring.

If it's also your first time as a caster, go with tailoring + enchanting.

What do you guys think about herbalism and alchemy for warlock btw? I've been always tailor/enchanter and now I wan't to change a little. It is worth?

excellent gold yield from
health/mana potions
resist potions
and arcanite bars

not to mention ability to farm less wanted essences and transmute into water/air/fire

All these people suggesting Enchanting? Yeeeesh. Enchanting will drain your wallet and your soul, leaving you as an emotionless husk of endgame usefulness. It's really not worth it. Go mining/engineering, tailoring/skinning or herb/alch to save your sanity.
