Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I am having issues turning in the warlock only quest "Components for the Enchanted Gold Bloodrobe". I am on one of the final steps of the quest quick requires 2 Smoldering coals, 1 Fine Gold Thread, and 1 Soul Shard to complete. I have all of the items in my inventory, and in my quest log the quest reads as completed. However, when I return to the questgiver, it shows a silver "?" above her head, and I am unable to turn in the quest. I was going to report this through https://report.nostalrius.org, but I think anyone who has ever typed in that URL can attest to the fact that it is probably the least user-friendly bug reporting system ever created. Hopefully this issue can easily be resolved.

If you take the time to learn it, the site isn't that bad.

i have the same bug now, is restarting the whole quest the only way to fix it? and will i need to go back and get the smouldering coals again?

I had the same problem as OP described. I tried abandoning the quest and accepted it again.
It worked and I didn't have to collect any quest items again.
